Sting will headline the 23rd annual edition of Dinner with the Stars, an event presented by Variety the Children’s Charity of St. Louis. It’s scheduled for April 13 at the Stifel Theatre in St. Louis.
The bash, which will include a dinner and a concert, will close out the charity’s annual Variety Week series of fundraising events. The charity supports programs that help empower and improve the quality of life of children with physical and developmental disabilities.
The 2019 Dinner with the Stars will be hosted by actor and comedian Joe Torry, a St. Louis native, as well as some of the kids involved in Variety programs. The event will also feature a performance by the Variety Children’s Chorus.
Sting is currently taking part in the Toronto production of his stage musical The Last Ship, which is running through March 24 at the Princess of Wales Theatre.
The former Police frontman also recently lined up a May 10 concert in Hidalgo, Texas, just before his headlining appearance at the inaugural KAABOO Texas festival, scheduled for May 10-12 in Arlington, Texas.

The 67-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is also teaming up with his recent collaborator Shaggy for four U.K. concerts in May. Sting will then kick off a European headlining tour running from late May to late July.
