Sammy Hagar‘s AXS TV reality series Rock & Roll Road Trip will return for a fourth season that’s set to kick off on Sunday, May 5, at 8 p.m. ET.
The new season will feature 12 episodes, and will include appearances by The Doors‘ Robby Krieger, Rick Springfield, REO Speedwagon, Charlie Daniels, country legend Willie Nelson, famed stoner comedy duo Cheech & Chong, and Sheila E.
The episode featuring Springfield was shot on location at the singer/actor’s home, while Sheila E. appears in a special show focusing on drummers that also will feature veteran session and touring musician Kenny Aronoff and Jason Bonham, son of late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham.
Other guests featured on the upcoming season of Rock & Roll Road Trip include popular blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa, celebrity chef Guy Fieri and NASCAR great Jimmie Johnson.
“I am so proud to be able to host this wild and crazy show for a fourth season,” Hagar says in a statement. “This is pure fun for me, getting to go around just hanging out and playing music with some of my favorite people in the world. It’s humbling to see that our viewers dig it as much as I do. I’m excited to keep this party going!”
This season of Rock & Roll Road Trip with Sammy Hagar is being presented exclusively by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, which also is sponsoring a new series of weekly AXS TV news vignettes called the “Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Music Minute.” The segments will showcase historic anniversaries and deliver updates on rock albums, tours, festivals and more, while also highlighting events taking place at the venue and offering a behind-the-scenes look at the rock memorabilia displayed at the hotel and casino.
