Credit: Jen RosensteinWe now know when the road will end for KISS‘ End of the Road farewell tour. At an indoor show that the band played during the KISS Kruise IX event Saturday, singer/guitarist Paul Stanley announced on stage that the massive trek would wrap up on July 17, 2021, in the costumed rockers’ hometown of New York City.

Stanley also revealed that KISS had plans to add a whole lot more concerts to the tour, which kicked off in January 2019.

“We’ve already done 90 shows, played to over two million people,” he told fans. “We’re about to put up 90 more shows. We got a lot of great stuff planned. We’re gonna give you everything y’all deserve.”

In addition, the band unveiled a countdown clock behind them that began winding down the time until the historic final show. Check out a video of the announcement on the group’s YouTube channel.

KISS’ official website also features a countdown clock on its main page.

Meanwhile, the Rock & Rock Hall of Famers unveiled the dates for the 10th annual edition of the KISS Kruise, which will be held from October 30 to November 4, 2020.

KISS will resume End of the Road later this month with a series of shows in Australia. The trek will then move on to New Zealand and Japan in December. A handful of 2020 concerts also have been confirmed, among them a pair of recently postponed events in Los Angeles and Oakland, California, that are now scheduled for March 4 and March 6, respectively.
